StudyGenie provides AI-powered study tools including text summarization, flashcard generation, quiz creation, topic explanation, and YouTube video summarization. These tools use Google's Gemini AI to process text and generate educational content. The service is provided "as is" and is intended to be a supplementary study aid.

StudyGenie uses artificial intelligence (Google's Gemini model) to generate content. While AI technology is powerful, it has inherent limitations:

• • Accuracy — AI may produce incorrect, incomplete, or misleading information. Always cross-check facts.
• • Hallucinations — AI models can generate plausible-sounding but factually incorrect content.
• • Bias — AI outputs may reflect biases present in training data.
• • Context — AI may misinterpret the context or nuance of specialized subject matter.

We are not responsible for any errors in AI-generated content or any consequences resulting from the use of such content.

To ensure fair access for all users, the following usage limits apply:

• ✓ Free tier — 5 AI generations per day across all tools. Resets daily at midnight.
• ✓ Input limits — Text input is limited to 8,000–10,000 characters per request depending on the tool.
• ✓ API key — Users must provide their own Gemini API key. You are responsible for your API key usage and any associated costs from Google.

We reserve the right to modify usage limits at any time. Abuse of the service (automated scraping, excessive API calls, etc.) may result in access being restricted.

By using StudyGenie, you agree to:

• • Use the service only for lawful educational purposes.
• • Not use the service to generate content that is harmful, offensive, or violates any laws.
• • Not attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or abuse the service.
• • Not use automated bots or scripts to access the service.
• • Keep your API key secure and not share it publicly.
• • Not submit copyrighted content that you do not have the right to use.

The StudyGenie name, logo, design, and code are the property of StudyGenie. The AI-generated content produced by the tools is provided for your personal educational use. You are free to use, copy, and share the AI-generated output for your own study purposes. You retain ownership of any text you input into the tools.

StudyGenie is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without any warranties, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, StudyGenie shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or academic outcomes arising from your use of the service.

StudyGenie relies on Google's Gemini API for AI processing. Your use of the Gemini API through StudyGenie is also subject to Google's Terms of Service. We are not responsible for any changes, downtime, or issues with third-party services.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
